I hope this helps anyone looking for a solution. From there, it was as simple as finding the folder named what my file was named, and inside scrolling down to find the 2nd audio track along with the english subtitles (it was the fourth selection down the list). Then, back to the normal PS3 selection screen, where instead of just choosing the file and options like above, I choose Transcode. In this instance, I had to ensure that in the Transcoding Settings, under Common Transcode Settings, the fourth option (Max number of audio channels) was selected as 6 (5.1). Normally when I copy files via UMS to the PS3, all I do is go to the directory and select the folder then file, and in the options choose Copy. I want the 5.1 audio to shine, but UMS continually makes the audio 2.0 when transcoded.Ĭan anyone help walk me through what settings I'm overlooking here? Thanks! mkv files with dual audio tracks, foreign languages with 2.0 as the first track and 5.1 being the second.
